Nuwara Eliya sits at 1,868 meters and is surrounded by tea plantations, waterfalls, and colonial charm. Horton Plains, at 2,000 m elevation, feature misty forests, moorlands, and stunning viewpoints like World's End. Ella, in the southeastern highlands, is nestled in lush jungle, mountains, and waterfalls. Yala National Park is home to elephants, sloth bears, over 30 mammal species and 130+ birds – including one of the world's highest leopard densities.
