Explore Sri Lanka’s largest fruit and vegetable market—experience the vibrant colors and busy atmosphere. Climb the Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy breathtaking views and see the famous Cloud Maidens. Continue to Kandy and visit the impressive Botanical Gardens and the sacred Temple of the Tooth, where a tooth of Buddha is kept. Head into the highlands with an unforgettable panoramic train ride through lush tea plantations, stunning nature, villages, and tunnels. Short hike to the famous Nine Arch Bridge. Visit the Ravana Falls. Buduruwagala: a peaceful jungle location. The elephant-shaped rock with Buddha statues lies in the south and is rarely visited by tourists. Continue to your beach hotel or return to Colombo. Every trip can be customized to your individual interests.
